What a season it was. Honestly one of the best sporting teams I have had the pleasure to be around. I love this team, its spirit as well as the atmosphere at PGE park. PGE park is a place for all the senses, with with the the noise and commotion of the Timbers Army, the pure speed and energy of the game of the game, the ball park beers and peanuts to just being out in the weather.

The Mighty Mighy Thunder won today as they raced aout to a 3 nil lead and barely held on for a 3-2 victory




We were in the Timber spirit all day long and arrived at the park early just to take all in and at about 445 th perk started filling up. The atmosphere was festive and I hate to admit it just a little tense. Or maybe I was tense with all the the activities of the day. We thoroughly dominated the entire game and various shots off the posts, a disputed non penalty kick and as soccer has it Penalty Kicks at the ended of the game.

The ref decided to have the it in the quiet end of the stadium. And we kind of meekly faded into the night. All I remember was the quiet and the tears streaming down a girl's face as stood and cheered the Boys from Portland. We have grown to love this team. Thanks for a great year. Bot only to the team but also the new owner whom has been fantastic.
